The Co-Cathedral Young Adults is an active group that seeks to grow in faith and fellowship through a variety of spiritual, social, and service activities. The group includes single, college, engaged, and married young adults. We focus on four areas of growth: Community, Education, Prayer, and Service. While the group’s core consists of those between the age of 18 and 35, everyone is welcome!

We are a group of close friends who share our lives together. We love to meet for planned social outings, such as game nights, happy hours, sporting events, concerts, picnics, and dinners. Every month we come together for Mass and Lunch, an opportunity for everyone to get to know each other. You can often find many of us sitting together at 11 am mass on Sundays and chatting in the narthex afterwards. You're most welcome to join us!
We are committed to ongoing development of our Catholic faith through bible studies, book studies, studies of the Catechism and Church encyclicals, small group discussions, and any relevant opportunities we come across.
While we can not meet at the moment, we hope that you will find the following bible study "Bible Study with Aquinas" by Matt Fradd helpful and enriching.
As committed Catholics, we gather each week at Mass together. Though C-YA members attend various weekend Masses, you can usually spot some of our group at the Sunday 11am sitting together a few rows back from the altar, on the right side of the center aisle. We also join other young Catholics across the archdiocese for various activities, such as Café Catholica, retreats for young adults, and special Masses throughout the year.
Service: Service to our parish and the Houston community is definitely important to us. We often come together to assist the parish in its many Outreach service projects. Each year we participate in Caritas Day. You can also find us lending a hand to fellow parishioners when the need arises. You can find us helping move parishioners, serving the seniors of our parish, and volunteering with numerous ministries throughout the parish.
