The Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart is pleased to have your marriage ceremony take place in our church. As with everything else, there are costs associated with keeping these beautiful structures operational and properly maintained. The fees below help defray the expenses of the Co-Cathedral.
CHURCH USAGE FEE SCHEDULE
*Parishioner Rate: $800.00
* A parishioner of the Co-Cathedral is defined by stewardship: time, talent, and treasure. - Time & Talent: Offering your time and talent to the parish (participating in Sunday Mass, parish events, ministries, etc.) - Treasure: Using Faith Direct or your church envelopes for the previous year, a minimum of $10 per week. You must have been registered and contributing using your church envelope for an entire year PRIOR to scheduling the church. (Registering and contributing at the time of scheduling the church does not count.)
*Non-Parishioner Rate: $1,800.00 A non-parishioner is defined as anyone who does not meet the above definition for a parishioner of the Co-Cathedral.
ADDITIONAL FEES: Reservation Fee for ALL weddings: $400.00 Prepare/Enrich Processing Fee: $50.00 (payable with Reservation Fee)
*Music (Basic Package): $550 The basic package includes a Co-Cathedral organist and cantor. Other packages are available upon request. Additional packages include a variety of additional musicians as desired. This information is usually provided at the Wedding Music Seminar.
Current trained Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart staff musicians are required for all liturgical parts of your ceremony. To clarify, your basic Co-Cathedral wedding music package requires both a Co-Cathedral organist and Co-Cathedral cantor.
All couples should contact the music office directly in order to register for the Wedding Music Seminar. You are strongly encouraged to attend at least 4 months prior to your wedding date.
Optional Candelabra - $200.00 If you desire to have a candelabra, you must rent and use the Church's candelabra. You may not bring your own.
Important Note: A wedding date and time CANNOT be reserved without payment of the $400 reservation fee and completion of the wedding reservation form.
All fees due must be paid in full at least 3 months PRIOR to the wedding date.
If the church is left in good condition; nothing is damaged or taken, and provided all the wedding guidelines of the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart have been followed, all church fees, including Prepare/Enrich have been paid, the $400.00 reservation fee will be refunded.
*If you cancel your wedding reservation, we retain the $400.00 reservation fee and all monies paid toward the church usage fee.
