The Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart would be pleased to celebrate your wedding in our church. Below is a breakdown of the fee structure for weddings which is meant to be an all-inclusive rate covering several costs. Aside from the costs associated with keeping our beautiful facilities operational and maintained this fee also includes the costs of our marriage preparation program, our wedding coordinator, and the cost of our organist and cantor. While there are options for extra "add on's" these are not required and for many couples, the base rates below represent the entire cost of the wedding at the Co-Cathedral.
The Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart is a beautiful Cathedral serving the Archdiocese of Galveston Houston, but it is also a parish church. Therefore our costs give a discount to our parish members while trying to still make it affordable and accessible to visitors.
Parishioners of the Co-Cathedral are defined by proper stewardship of time, talent, and treasure. A parishioner is registered with the parish, participates regularly in Sunday Masses and parish activities, and contributes to the needs of the church and the poor through parish offertory. You must meet these qualifications for an entire year prior to scheduling your wedding.

All weddings also require a $500 refundable reservation deposit.

Important Notes:
A wedding date and time CANNOT be reserved without payment of the $500 deposit and completion of the wedding reservation form.
All fees due must be paid in full at least 3 months PRIOR to the wedding date.
If you cancel your wedding reservation, we retain the $500 reservation fee and all monies paid toward the church usage fee.

Live-Stream - $500
You will receive a link to share with family and friends who are unable to physically attend your wedding. A USB drive with the recording is included. Contact Gwenne Buck two months prior to your wedding date.
Music Included: Included The basic package includes a Co-Cathedral organist and cantor. Other packages are available upon request. Additional packages include a variety of additional musicians as desired. This information is usually provided at the Wedding Music Seminar. The standard wedding fees include the cost for an organist and a cantor to sing at Mass. Some people have special requests that might incur additional fees. These options are provided at the music seminar and can be discussed with the music coordinator.
Current training Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart staff musicians (singers and accompanists) are required for all liturgical parts of your ceremony.
All couples should contact the music office directly in order to register for the Wedding Music Seminar. You are strongly encouraged to attend at least 4 months prior to your wedding date.
