“The Sacrament of Marriage is a covenant, which is more than a contract. Covenant always expresses a relationship between persons. The marriage covenant refers to the relationship between the husband and wife, a permanent union of persons capable of knowing and loving each other and God. The celebration of marriage is also a liturgical act, appropriately held in a public liturgy at church. Catholics are urged to celebrate their marriage within the Eucharistic Liturgy.”
Catechism of the Catholic Church 1601

Special weekday wedding dates are permitted only if the parish schedule allows.
Wedding Reservations at the Co-Cathedral
No date can be reserved or "held" until the completion of the Co-Cathedral’s Wedding Reservation Form and the deposit is received. Wedding dates/times are on first-come, first-serve basis. While date availability can be checked up front, a commitment to a wedding date will not be made until a couple has met with their assigned celebrant or the staff member in charge of marriage preparation. Please do not prematurely book venues or make other arrangements before your wedding date is confirmed.
Please note: The reservation of a wedding date is not an absolute guarantee that you will marry. Issues that may arise in marriage preparation may result in the postponement or cancellation of your wedding.
