Tiffany Sau is one of our Royal School of Church Music and Music Appreciation teachers at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. She grew up in a small town in Florida and moved to the big city of Houston in 2006 and has lived there ever since. Currently, she is studying Choral Music Education at the Moores School of Music and sings with the internationally-acclaimed Concert Chorale under the direction of Dr. Betsy Weber. Previous to singing with Concert Chorale, Tiffany sang with the University of Houston's Concert Women's Chorus, honored at the 2016 Southwest Division of the American Choral Directors Association. After graduation, Tiffany plans to pursue a Master of Music degree with a concentration in Choral Conducting.
Aside from her work at the Co-Cathedral, Tiffany also teaches private voice lessons from beginner to advanced levels. Tiffany prides herself in her smart and capable students and in her teaching philosophy: to make sure that each of her students leaves her better than they were before they came to her. She encourages her students to strive past the comfort of mediocrity and to be better than no one but themselves. Her goal is to encourage her students to become independent musicians, learning not only musicianship, but kindness, empathy, and leadership in her classroom, thus teaching them to make the world just a little bit sweeter.
