"With great openness and courage, we need to question how widespread is the culture of life today among individual Christians, families, groups and communities in our Dioceses. With equal clarity and determination we must identify the steps we are called to take in order to serve life in all its truth." (Evangelium Vitae 95)
Women facing challenging pregnancies should see the Church as a place where they can find help. But the Church must also honestly assess the assistance that it currently provides to pregnant moms and families in need and how effective it is in communicating such help to women in need.
In this effort we are calling on all parishioners to join us as we join the initiatve set forth by the USCCB to Walk With Moms In Need. Below you will find various resources you are encouraged to share with mothers struggling in their pregnancy or raising children. Additionally, we ask that you prayerfully discern how you can assist us in providing real and tangible support to struggling families in our community. We currently have multiple opportunties listed below that need your support. If you feel called to provide support in additional ways, please join us at our next committee meeting listed on our 'Upcoming Events' section.
