"Now when the apostles at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent to them Peter and John, who came down and prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit; for it had not yet fallen on any of them, but they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they laid their hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit"
Acts 8:14-17
Youth Confirmation preparation at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart is intended for high school-age teens in 10th or 11th grade who have already received the sacraments of Baptism and First Holy Communion. Teens must have also already completed 1 year of ongoing high school faith formation either at the parish, a Catholic school, or through Catholic homeschooling.
Youth Confirmation preparation is a year-long process that begins in January. Teens will be expected to exhibit an active faith life through participation in monthly formation sessions, church events, and service projects.
